# The BAD TIMES trend, starring your dog or cat

> Make the BAD TIMES trend dog or cat video from one photo: your pet stands up and argues with the camera, lip-syncing Imael Angel's song, on a husky's take of the trend — or a black shepherd's. 30 s or a 15 s highlight, 9:16, no prompt, no watermark.

Upload one photo of your dog, cat or other pet. It stands on its hind legs and takes over the viral argument — paws up for "hold on", pointing, lunging at the lens — lip-synced to Imael Angel's "BAD TIMES".

## Version and price

- Your dog or cat: 1 photo of a pet · 30 s · 9:16 MP4 with sound. Premium (30 s) 480p 55 / 720p 120 / 1080p 205 credits; Balanced (15 s) 480p 15 / 720p 25 credits; without an account, one video from $5.99. Added 2026-10-22.

## How to make it

1. **Upload one pet photo** A clear photo of your dog, cat or other pet, face sharp and toward the camera, one animal per photo.
2. **Pick a version and generate** Premium makes the whole 30-second take: 55 credits at 480p, 120 at 720p and 205 at 1080p. Balanced makes the first 15 seconds from 15 credits. Failed renders are refunded automatically.
3. **Download or share** Your pet's video is ready in a few minutes as a vertical MP4 with the song, ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

## Tips

- **Face clearly visible** Eyes and nose sharp and toward the camera. Side profiles and blurry action shots lose the likeness.
- **Some body in frame** Head and chest, or the whole pet, so the video gets its fur, size and markings right.
- **Good light** Daylight or a bright room. Dark photos turn black fur into a shapeless blur.
- **One animal** One pet per photo. Two pets, or a person holding the pet, make it unclear who plays the part.

## FAQ

### What is the Bad Times trend dog video?

It's the pet version of the viral BAD TIMES trend. The original TikTok shows a woman having an over-the-top argument with whoever holds the phone, lip-syncing Imael Angel's "BAD TIMES". In the pet version a dog (or cat) stands on its hind legs and does the same routine. This page makes one from a photo of your own pet, on the best-known husky take or a black shepherd's: pick the one you saw.

### Does it work with cats and other pets?

Yes. Dogs, cats and most other pets work, as long as the photo shows one animal with a clear face. The motion comes from a dog's take, so very long-bodied or very small animals can look less natural.

### Does my pet need to stand up in the photo?

No. Any clear photo works; the video makes your pet stand and act out the moves. A photo that shows its body helps the proportions.

### Will it still look like my pet?

Yes. Breed, fur colour, markings and eye colour come from your photo. Only the moves, the camera and the timing come from the reference take.

### Can I use a photo of a person?

Not on this version: the motion is a dog's, so a person looks odd. For people, use the original Bad Times AI template, which follows the original performer's take (it takes pet photos too).

### How long is the video and what format is it?

Premium makes the whole 30-second take; Balanced makes its first 15 seconds. Both are vertical 9:16 MP4s with the song, ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

### How many credits does it cost?

Premium makes the whole 30-second video: 55 credits at 480p, 120 at 720p and 205 at 1080p. Balanced makes the 15-second highlight from 15 credits. Your account's first full 480p video costs just 20 credits. There's no watermark, and failed renders and rejected photos are refunded automatically. No account needed: you can also buy a single video at checkout from $7.99, refunded automatically if it fails.

### Is the Bad Times Dog AI video free?

Not free, but there's no subscription either. Without an account, one video costs from $7.99 at checkout. With an account, a video starts at 15 credits (credit packs from $9.90; credits never expire), and your account's first full 480p video costs just 20 credits. No watermark, and failed renders are refunded automatically.

### Will my photos be published or shared?

No. Your photos and videos are private: we never publish them, show them to other users or use them in our examples or marketing. Only you can see them in your history.

### Is the song included?

Yes. Imael Angel's "BAD TIMES" is added under your video in time with the moves, so it's ready to post.
