# APT. CapCut Template vs AI: Which One Puts You in the Pink Studio?

> What the APT. CapCut templates actually do, checked in October 2026, what an AI template does instead, and which one to use for the ROSÉ and Bruno Mars pink-studio trend.

Search "APT capcut template" and you get dozens of results with the song's name on them. They are real and free, but most of them don't do what the trend clips show: two people in the pink studio, one on the drums, one at the mic. Here is what the CapCut templates actually make, what an AI template makes instead, and when to use which.

## The short answer

- **You want a quick edit of your own photos with the APT. sound:** a CapCut template. Free, a minute of work.
- **You want you and a friend in the pink studio, drumming, singing and dancing through the music-video shots:** the [APT. Pink Studio template](https://memefxai.com/apt-ai-video), from two photos.

## What the APT. CapCut templates do

APT. by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars came out on 18 October 2024, and CapCut users started uploading templates for it within days. On 30 October 2026 the ones that came up first were all from that wave:

| Template | Creator | Length | Frame | Uses |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| APT ROSE BRUNO MARS | ED | 20 s | 3:4 | about 112,000 |
| APT Rose bruno mars | DAN | 27 s | 9:16 | about 12,000 |
| APT rose&brunomars | [LE] efpotz | 20 s | not listed | about 4,350 |

The tags say what they are: photo dumps, lyric edits and beat-synced slideshows. You pick your photos or clips, the template cuts them to the song and adds its effects. That is a fine way to post your own pictures with the sound. It doesn't film you, so nobody plays the drums and nobody kneels on the pink floor unless you shot that footage yourself. User templates can also disappear or change without notice.

## What an AI template does instead

The [APT. Pink Studio template](https://memefxai.com/apt-ai-video) starts from the scene, not from your camera roll. Photo 1 becomes the drummer behind the red kit, photo 2 the singer with the mic, and both move through the shots people know from the trend: the singer kneeling in front of the bass drum, the sunglasses gag at the kit, the two dancing side by side on the pink floor. The song is in the file, and there is no watermark.

Balanced renders the first 14 seconds as a highlight; Premium renders the whole performance of about 26 seconds, including the clapping game on the floor and the laughing ending. Step by step: [how to make the APT. AI video](https://memefxai.com/blog/how-to-make-apt-ai-video).

| Sound | The template's audio | The song, in the file |
| Watermark | CapCut's export settings apply | None |
| Price | Free | From $7.99 a video, or packs from $9.90 |

## Which one should you use?

- **Use a CapCut template** when you want a quick, free post of photos you already have, with the APT. sound, inside an app you already use.
- **Use the AI template** when the joke is you and a friend in the music video: the drum kit, the mic, the dance. Two photos taken in different cities still end up on the same stage.
- **Use both** when you want the performance plus your own captions: make the video here, then add text or stickers in CapCut.

Whichever you pick, use photos of people who agreed to it and leave public figures out; photos of celebrities won't pass review here.

## FAQ

### Is there an APT. CapCut template?

Yes, many, all made by CapCut users after the song came out in October 2024. The popular ones are photo dumps and lyric edits of 20 to 27 seconds; they cut your photos to the song rather than putting you in the music video.

### Which CapCut template puts me in the pink studio with the drum kit?

None of the ones we opened on 30 October 2026. A template can only rearrange the photos and clips you give it. Two people drumming and singing in the pink studio from two photos needs an AI video tool, or filming it yourselves.

### Is the APT. AI template free?

No. One video costs from $7.99 without an account, or 15 to 180 credits with one; credit packs start at 20 credits for $9.90, never expire, and there is no subscription. CapCut templates are free to use.

### Can I use both?

Yes. Make the pink-studio video here, then open it in CapCut to add captions, stickers or a different cut.
