# Can You Make the Devil Wears Prada AI Video for Free?

> The honest answer, checked in October 2026: the free and cheap routes for the "Prada Prada Prada" transition, what one video costs on each, and when paying makes sense.

Short answer: only if you film it. Every AI tool we checked on 31 October 2026 charges for the video; the closest thing to free is a preview still. Here's what each route costs, MemeFX AI included.

## The routes at a glance

| Route | What's free | What a video costs | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Film it yourself | Everything | Nothing but a night out | Two sets, a jacket and a cut |
| Outwow | 5 preview stills a day | $10.99 | The preview is a picture, not the video |
| devilwearspradatrend.com | Nothing ("There is no free tier") | $9.90 | 15 s, 9:16 or 4:3, the trend sound; an optional outfit photo |
| devilwearspradaai.com | Nothing | $9.99, account needed | 15 s, 4:3 only, model audio instead of the song |
| MemeFX AI | Nothing | From $7.99, or 15 to 105 credits | 15 s, 4:3 or 9:16, the trend sound |

## Film it yourself

The trend is two shots and a cut, so it can be done for free. At home in a plain top: a selfie lip-sync to the sound, a hand through the hair, finger horns, then push two white panels or doors shut toward the lens. Then go out at night in a black leather jacket, frame yourself the same way in front of a lit building, and keep mouthing "Prada, Prada, Prada". Cut on the beat where the panels close.

**What it costs you:** a jacket, a night street and the patience to line up two shots.

CapCut doesn't help much here: the Devil Wears Prada templates we found there are older edits about the film, not this transition. More on that in [how to choose a Devil Wears Prada AI generator](https://memefxai.com/blog/best-devil-wears-prada-ai-video-generators).

## The AI tools

- **Outwow** lets you request a free preview still of you in the trend's key moment, 5 a day; the video is $10.99.
- **devilwearspradatrend.com** has no free tier: a $9.90 pack of 500 credits covers one 720p video (480p uses 375). It takes an optional second photo of your own night-out outfit.
- **devilwearspradaai.com** charges $9.99 per video, after you sign in. Its clip is 4:3 only, and it says the audio is model-generated rather than the trend song.

## When paying makes sense

- **No night shoot.** The second set is in the video.
- **You want the sound and the frame right.** "Prada Prada Prada" in the file, 4:3 like the original or 9:16 for full screen.
- **You want to post it tonight.** A few minutes of rendering.

When it doesn't: you were going out in a leather jacket anyway (film it).
