## Where Closed on Sunday comes from

"Closed on Sunday" is a track from Kanye West's 2019 gospel album "Jesus Is King". Its official video ends with the Sunday Service Choir around him on a hill while he stands still; it has 54.7 million YouTube views.

On 14 October 2026 creators started putting someone new in the center of that scene with AI. The cat choir with a kitten knight was the first, and Google searches for "closed on sunday kanye" peaked three days later.

## Tips

- **Face and ears in view** A clear, close photo keeps your pet's face under the armour.
- **Stand out from the crowd** Cream or ginger fluffy cats look like the choir, so use an especially sharp photo.
- **One pet per photo** Only one animal in the photo, no people.

## FAQ

### What is the Closed on Sunday AI trend?

It recreates the last scene of the 2019 "Closed on Sunday" video by Kanye West (Ye): one figure stands still in the middle of a huge robed choir while it bobs, waves and sings. The AI version started on 14 October 2026; the first clip we know, by @bellvtrix_ai, turned the choir into fluffy cats around a kitten knight with angel wings.

### Can I put myself in it?

This template is the pet version: your cat or dog becomes the knight among the cats. A version for people is not available yet.

### Does it work with dogs?

Yes. Your dog becomes the knight; the choir around it stays cats, which is half the joke.

### Which photo works best?

A clear photo with the face and ears in view. If your cat is fluffy and cream or ginger like the crowd, use a close, sharp photo so the knight takes your cat's face.

### How many credits does it cost?

Premium renders 480p for 25 credits, 720p for 55 and 1080p for 95. Your account's first full 480p video costs just 20 credits. No watermark, and failed renders are refunded automatically. No account needed: you can also buy a single video at checkout.

### Are my photos private?

Yes. Photos and videos are never published, shown to other users or used in our examples or marketing. The photos you upload are deleted 30 days after the video is made.
