Terms of Service

The rules for using MemeFX AI

These terms apply when you use MemeFX AI, operated by MemeFX AI ("we", "us"). By placing an order or creating an account you agree to them.

The service

MemeFX AI generates short AI videos that recreate viral video trends, based on photos you upload. Results are produced by an AI model and can vary; they are a creative interpretation, not an exact likeness.

Your photos and permissions

You may only upload photos:

  • of yourself, or of people who have given you permission;
  • of people who are 18 or older;
  • that you have the right to use.

You may not upload photos of celebrities or public figures, photos of minors, explicit content, or anything meant to harass, deceive, defame or impersonate someone. We review photos and may refuse any order. Videos must not be presented as real footage of a person doing something they did not do in a way that could mislead or harm them.

Content rules

You may not use MemeFX AI to create, request or share content that is:

  • Sexual or NSFW: nudity, sexual acts or sexually suggestive content;
  • Violent or gory: graphic violence, injury, blood, gore, self-harm, or content that threatens, glorifies or encourages violence;
  • Hateful: content that attacks, demeans or incites hatred or discrimination against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or serious disease, including hate symbols;
  • Unsafe for children: any content that sexualizes or exploits minors (child sexual abuse material). We report such content to the relevant authorities;
  • Deepfakes or impersonation: content that impersonates a real person or depicts someone without their consent, including celebrities and public figures, or that is meant to deceive, harass or defame;
  • Infringing: content that infringes copyrights, trademarks or other rights of others, such as protected characters, logos or brands you do not have permission to use.

We may refuse or cancel an order, delete a video, and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Refunds for orders cancelled under this section are at our discretion.

Reporting content

If you find a video made with MemeFX AI that breaks these rules, including one that shows you without your consent, email support@memefxai.com with the subject "Content report" and include:

  • a link to the video or where you saw it, or the order ID if you have it;
  • which rule you think it breaks and a short description;
  • for a report about yourself, enough information to show that you are the person in the video.

We confirm receipt within 2 business days. We review every report, and while we do, we may restrict access to the video. If it breaks these rules we delete it and take action on the account, as described above. We tell you the outcome within 7 days of your report.

Payments, credits and refunds

  • Prices are shown before you pay. Single videos are one-time purchases; credit packs are one-time purchases and credits do not expire.
  • Payments are processed by Waffo as merchant of record, or by PayPal when you pay with PayPal, and their terms also apply to the payment.
  • Automatic refunds: if your photo is rejected or the video fails to render, we refund the payment or credits in full.
  • Because each video is generated on demand, there is no free preview and no refund for a successfully delivered video because you dislike the creative result, except where the law requires it. If something looks clearly broken, contact us and we will make it right.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Ownership and use of videos

You keep any rights you have in your photos. Subject to these terms, you may use your generated videos for personal and social media purposes. The trend song is owned by its rights holders; the "with the song" download is provided for personal use, and platforms such as TikTok license music separately.

You give us a limited license to store and process your photos and videos only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability

The service depends on third-party AI and infrastructure providers. We do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned.
