How to Make the AI Money Flex Video From One Photo
The money flex trend step by step: which photo to use, what happens in the 15 seconds, the dog and cat version, the sound and the price.

What is the AI money flex trend?
It started on Instagram on 9 October 2026 with an AI clip of a dog standing behind a dresser, hugging a chain of cash, throwing it and peeking over a fan of bills. It passed 365,000 likes. Versions with people followed within days, many on an Arabic sound whose words mean "all my money is cash"; one from 13 October passed 1.8 million views, and a CapCut template of the trend has been used more than 670,000 times. The Money Flex template follows the moves and camera of one of the trend's most viewed clips and puts you in it, with that clip's sound.
How to make it
- Open the Money Flex template.
- Pick "You", or "Your dog or cat" for the pet version.
- Add one photo: sharp, face clearly visible, from the waist up.
- Pick a version and generate. Every version renders the whole 15-second clip.
- Download and post. The vertical 9:16 MP4 already has the sound; a caption like "POV: payday" fits, and keep the AI label on.
What happens in the video
- 0–4.5 s: you hug a long folded chain of cash bundles, push it at the lens, then swing it over your shoulder.
- 4.5–7.5 s: the chain unfolds down your front and you throw the whole thing at the camera.
- 7.5–11.25 s: you pick a bundle off the dresser, rip the band off and spread the bills in your hands.
- 11.25–15 s: a wide fan of bills in front of your face, and you peek over it at the camera.
Your dog or cat instead
The trend began with a dog, so the pet version is the original joke: your dog, cat or other pet stands behind the dresser, hugs the cash with its front paws, throws it at the camera and peeks over the fan of bills. Breed, fur colour and markings come from your photo. A sitting or lying photo works; one that shows the chest and front legs helps. Same 15 seconds and same price as the person version.
Photos that work best
- Face sharp and forward. Eyes and face clearly visible, no sunglasses; you peek over the bills at the end, so a sharp face sells it.
- Waist up. The clip shows you from the waist up with your arms full of cash.
- Dress the part. You wear the clothes from your photo: a shirt, a suit or a hoodie all make the joke work.
- One person per photo, or one animal for the pet version, in good light.
- Ask first. Use your own photo or one of an adult who said yes; never a stranger or a public figure.
Your photos stay private and are deleted 30 days after the video is made.
What does it cost?
Balanced is 15 credits at 480p and 25 at 720p. Premium is 30 credits at 480p, 60 at 720p and 105 at 1080p, and your account's first full 480p video costs just 20 credits. Without an account, one video starts at $7.99. No watermark, and failed renders are refunded automatically.
